What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is an FDA-approved, hylauronic acid filler used to soften/correct wrinkles and to enhance other facial features such as the lips, lip lines/smoker lines, nose, chin, cheeks, laugh lines and even the hands! Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a polysaccharide, natually found and produced in our bodies, found in our skin, joints and eyes. HA helps maintain the moisture in our skin by binding and retaining molecules.
How does Juvederm work?
As we age, the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen decreases, which leads to loss of volume and support of facial structures, sagging and wrinkling of the skin in our face, neck and hands. Juvederm adds volume to the treated area by retaining water, which restores the structural support in the face or enhances specific facial features. Additional filler can add the desired range of fullness to plump the lips. Treatments are tailored to give enhance your natural beauty.
